"Good simple food, fantastic service! A very beautiful place to stop, there is a lovely green garden, fish ponds (so the fish dish is very fresh), & a river running through the gorge. Definitely worth a visit! Shout out to Bintang, she is very helpful/excellent with directions to local attractions"

"Catu rest area is like the dream place you always wanted to live. It’s a really cozy stop by on a road through the mountains on the way to se Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. It’s must stop, te food is really great, prices are cheap and the views are exquisite. There’s always Bintang around to serve you, she speaks English and it’s very nice and cute. If you are planing to go Danau Beratan or just riding, go eat there."

"Stopped here for lunch along the way to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the chicken soup. Nice view and fair prices are a bonus!"

"Oh what a view, forget the main road going to or from bedugul. Put this in as a way point and stop for lunch. Food is oh so reasonable, and that view is amazing. Add to that you stay off the main road and all those buses. We will be back."
